What are the best seats for The Who's Tommy?
For a balanced view of the staging, consider seats near the center of the orchestra or in the front portion of the mezzanine. The best choice depends on your budget and preference for proximity versus a wider view of the production. Review the seating map when selecting tickets.
Which seats should I avoid?
Seats at the far sides or toward the rear may offer a more angled or distant view than centered options. Sightlines vary by seat, so consult the venue's seating map and any view notes shown during checkout before purchasing.
Where can I park near Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre?
Parking availability and rates can vary by event. The Who's Tommy Asbury Park Theatre reviews
Raunchy, vulgar and amazing
"if you are offended by profanity and vulgarity, boy are you in the wrong f---ing place" is heard early in the performance by the audience. But assuming you're an adult, stick around; the show is amazing. You'll laugh, you'll applaud, you'll stand up and cheer. Some of the acts are performing feats a few feet away that will astound and slightly terrorize you (think roller skaters).
One note on purchasing reserved seat tickets online with a locals discount: when we arrived at WILL CALL (the The Who's Tommy ticket booth), we found that there are no reserved seats despite a seat and row number on the tickets; it's general seating and everybody gets the locals discount ($20 off). Get in line around 40 minutes before showtime and you'll get good seats, not that any are really bad in this small venue. One word of warning, unless you enjoy being part of the show, you might want to avoid the first row.
